In Portland (a city of the USA), Hundreds of “Witches” traded in Broomsticks for Paddles in Oregon during the last weekend before Halloween.
The Costumed Coven paddled for 10 kilometers on Boards Last Saturday along the Willamette River, which divides the City of Portland.
The Oregonian/Oregon Live reported that the “Paddleboard Event” started 2 years ago with a handful of Participants but attracted hundreds in this year already!!!

Besides, the Participants Donated packages of Socks, Underwear and T-shirts to a Local Non-Profit Group, before they started Paddling.
During the Paddles, the Spectators, who were caught off guard by the Witches, watched from the shoreline.
Maybe Halloween is just a Event for FUN to us each year. It would become more Meaningful, if we could do something else to help the Others in this Event!!!
